There's only so much comfort in a single touch;
You can only walk so far without a crutch.
Dancing to a blood red melody.

One tear can stand for a broken river;
Invisible fingers can make you shiver;
Promises made may not deliver.
Drowning in a blood red sea.

Allies will only stand with you for so long;
Strength can only make you so strong;
Submitting can only be so wrong.
Blood red in her imperfect beauty.

Death can be terrifying or inviting;
Darkness can be your only lighting;
Sometimes you just can't continue fighting.
Lost in her blood red memory.
