We could all escape this pain,
if only you'd embrace my tears.
Why can't you hear me?
Won't you open up your ears?
I'm screaming, but my voice is soundproof.
No-one ever hears.
We could all escape this lie
if you'd open up your ears.

Won't you free me from these razored chains
and my creators' awful lies?
Come now, you see the broken shards
desperate in my eyes.
Why can't you hear me
and my sad, forsaken cries?
We could both escape ourselves

You're cruel and blinded by your lies
and by your lack of shame.
Though so much sorrow you've dragged me through,
I still scream your name.
You break my heart anew every day
but each homicide's the same.
You're deafened by your ignorance.
Why can't you hear me sob your name?

because this is all a dream.
There's no way you can be
as indifferent as you seem.
