The words hidden that no-one sees,
it's her silent way of screaming please.
Blood she sees and tears you don't,
things she says she'll do but won't.
The cut, the burn, it hurt so good.
She knew they never understood.
But this is all she's living for,
as blood is there, but nothing more.
No-one stops her, no-one cries,
but everyone witnesses her demise.
They always look, but never see
that she's hanging on, but just barely.
Crushed beneath the weight of you
and everything you only thought you knew.
The flashbacks, blood, the memories,
the words hidden that no-one sees.
