A Call To End Hunger

by Swila Bathool
(Karama,Dubai,U.A.E)

In the lonely daylight
I saw a group of kids with no might

Searching for some food
In the garbage pits with no mood

Wandering here and there
Wondering a luxurious living in the night mare

I saw a gloomy boy
His eyes gleaming in the daylight by

A baby crying for food
His mother's tears with nothing to feed

I saw some boys grieving
With torn clothes without weaving

Their call to end hunger
Ended with an expression of anger

They are the wonders of tomorrow
They are colour spreading birds of the morrow

Their call to end hunger
Should receive an answer from the abler
