A Dying Star

by Elizabeth Christine Kiley Bolton
(London, Ontario, Canada)

Ripped apart,
Limb by limb.
Shattered bones,
My heart caves in.

Self infliction,
Scar by scar.
Empty and hollow,
A dying star.
