A Sun halfway To Summer

Japan, What is to Come...

Japan, What is to Come...

Wherein, two gulls glide
over an Emperor who
faced a White Egret

Orchid Ocean, whose sound
Bells rang out far and away.

Under a lilac dusted,
Russet tempered silt oval moon.

A beautiful poem most redolant of Japan...the use of flowers..delicate, lovely, and sad...yet the orchid, to me, symbolizes a kind of strength.
