A WHALE OF A WHALE

by GEORGE CAMPOS
(ONTARIO, CA. - USA)

Several years ago a 72 ton whale
left his home in the Pacific
ocean heading upstream towards San Francisco.
Bystanders named him Humphrey the humpback Whale.
Humphrey taught us the following....

There's a whale named Humphrey
And a whale of a whale is he
One day he left his ocean home
With intent to be or not to be.

They thought he'd never make it
Swimming there upstream
But Humphrey had to try
Humphrey had a dream.

You never know what you can do
Until you go and try
You've got to give it everything
Commit to do or die...

Humphrey taught us something
Made us understand
If you wanna be a famous fish
You've got to take a stand..
