ALONE IN THE DARK

by Lloyd Culvehous
(Birmingham, Alabama)

Your midnight eyes catch my gaze,as your pale skin beckons my caress...
The moon casts its soft blue haze, as the wind plays its melody...
Your finger nails pain across my flesh, as our dance begins...
Your crimson lips like blood whispers...
I have found my Love of the Dark...
The shadows mimic every heart beat, I am cold...
The emptiness of my soul, I have been banished by your tongue...
My flesh remembers every touch...
Let me go,and set me free...
But you will always haunt my dreams...
Your crimson lips like blood whispers...
I have found my Love of the Dark...
The truth is that your face is all my mind can see...
Dark and Alone my thoughts have become...
Separated from the Love that I desire...
The darkness consumes me, like a fire...
Your crimson lips like blood whispers...
I have found my Love of the Dark..
GOODBYE MY EVERYTHING....
