And Acorn in My Pocket

I've got an acorn in my pocket
And I really ought to drop it
If I ever want to see it be a tree!



Amazed

A deer can stand amazed
This I know for I have gazed
long and longer than it takes to run away.

But she turned her ears homeward
And she bound across the meadow
Where the doe and buck together early grazed.

I'm still amazed.
