And I Will Search

by Tristen McDonald
(NS, Canada)

I will search.
I would search through every grain of sand,
Under every forgotten stone and pebble..
I will look for you,
inside I will search.
I may not find,
but I know you'll be there.
I may not justify why,
but I'll still search.
Time may only be an illusion
Though I'll spend all of my imaginary time on you.
Like a rose heading towards the sun
It takes time, time to become,
time to mature and time to bloom.
When we're finally ready
the world will see our beauty.
Our true self,
for we are greatness,
for we are beauty,
For we are human.
And For that I will search.
