As I turn, a dedication to my mother

by Walter Dikgale
(Polokwane, Limpopo, South Africa)

As I turn...to look at my heart.
As I turn...and look at the humble passing of my feet.
As I turn to adore your honest smile, your love displayed.

As I turn...and look at my graceful past.
As I turn...and look at the path Im threadin'.
As I turn and see the scars and cuts in your lovin hands,
things you did to raise a son like me, my heart gleams.

As I turn...to count my fruits.
As I turn...and count my colours and stripes.
As I turn, all I wanna do is bow before you MAMA.
All I wanna do is kiss your feet and say thank you.

As I turn...I JUST MISS YOU MORE WITH EACH PASSING DAY.

As I turn, a dedication to my mother WOW
by: Ortmmann

Yes fellow friend of SA, never do we appreciate enough the sacrifice of a mmothers love, dedication, adoration, patience strong, her words of wisdom, until suddenly she's no longer there to whisper our names - then the bleeding hearts eternal begin. Wishing you strength as time distances the pain, turning it into good memoirs instead.

Very sweet, very tender & very sensitively written.
