Oh Lord because of who you are we worship you
In your sanctuary pour out your oil of joy on us
We worship you when we are glad
We worship you when we are sad
Oh Lord we worship you because of who you are.

Oh Lord because of who you are we praise you
We praise you when the sun comes up
We praise you when the sun goes down
We praise you with glad hearts of thanks

We are your people and you are our God
We are empowered by your Holy Spirit
We are kings and queens in your court
