(Maine, USA)

I met her in 4th grade
We were BFFs at first sight
We had fun all year
And the next

Now I'm in 6th grade
Things are different now

I made a poisonous new friend
We parted ways yesterday
I was the unwitting person to fall into her trap
She spun me into her invisible web of lies and betrayal

I left her yesterday
But I had been neglecting my other friends for her
One word:

Why was I so stupid?
They tell me it's not my fault
But... but... I left you all alone!

She says it doesn't matter
My BFF, Carrie

Great poem Caneel. I really love reading your poems. I find that I can really relate to some of your poems, and others I just imagine how you felt. Keep up the brilliant and beautiful poems.

Yeah, I Guess...

Yeah, I guess you have got a point. This is actually a true story about an experience I had- actually, am having! this year at middle school. It really stinks.

nice story

Having a multitude of younger cousins. I can relate to this story very well. May I suggest that you write it so it will flow just a bit more smoothly? of course I am not a grammar expert. That is just my humble suggestion.
