Blood Filled Skies

I stand alone
Beneath these blood filled skies
Lying inside myself
The destruction of me is too deep

I’ve been imprisoned by all this pain’
All my fears I hid in vain
This perpetual sorrow suffocates
I’m too lost to be saved

Ashamed of being myself
I search for the lost memories
Being punished
Deeply rooted inside me
Until my body is resurrected

This madness will devour me
My thoughts dyed in blood
In a world so cold
I suffocate myself

Walking through a black depression
Who knows I’m sober
These needles will slit my throat
This hurt will detach all hope

I shall forever be ashamed
