CARING

You say you love me and care about me
But you’re always pulling me down
I always feel lost when you’re around
I want more of who I can really be.

There is much I know I can do you see
If you would just try building me up
Words of encouragement helping me
Lift my spirit and don’t make it corrupt.

It’s my life and I want to be all I can
Life should be full of adventure and glee
If you can’t help I hope you understand
I will have to move on without thee.
