If ever I have to say goodbye
And you should feel the world is dark,
Look up at the blue sky and not at the ground.
Listen to the sweet birdsong
And feel all my best love shining on you.
Find me in all the things you do
And come back sometime
And remember where you are from.
Walk in my shoes and acknowledge my past,
But walk forward and cherish your life
For I have always cherished yours.
