Christmas time in Donegal

by Michael Dowds
(Ireland)

Christmas time in Donegal
The jingle bells are ringing and you can hear
the homeland the homeland call
it's Christmas time in Donegal

All the trees are snowed up
As the lights are gleaming tall
it's Christmas time in Donegal

There is a welcome at the fire
And its there for one and all
It's Christmas time in Donegal

The song the choir is singing
Has a warmth for one and all
And it's Christmas time in Donegal
