CLOUDS AND YOU

by Dr. Rick McGrath,Ph.D.
(Modesto, CA)

As I look upward toward the bright blue sky
Clouds of many shapes and sizes move by.
Gently like spring lambs grazing casually
I think of golden love tales of rhapsody.

Sometimes I feel lonely like the clouds
Wandering aimlessly with the crowds.
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
I think about us and then I’m pleased.

Swirling around flowing with the wind
Mounds of vanilla ice cream, I pretend.
Sun sets, the clouds turn a pinkish hue,
Thinking cotton candy and I love you.
