Crime, Punishment, Schoolhouse and Play

by Donna
(America)

Mothers, Mothers, what must you say,
crime, punishment, schoolhouse and play.

Trying your best to mold the mind game,
Some days a hit and some days pretty lame.

Knowing what it’s like to be in this world,
trying to get by without being unfurled.

But no matter what error or correct image is portrayed,
know that my love for you will never be betrayed.

So my word for you is triumph, this Mother’s Day.
You were the best Mom in every way!
