My wife was of noble character
Worth more than rubies, a treasure
Brought me good, never harm
Constantly radiating charm.
Set about her work vigorously
Clothed with strength and dignity
Her lamp never dimmed at night
The essence of heavenly light.
Morning her children would arise
She'd be blessed in their eyes
Many women do noble things
In loving memory our heart sings.
She feared the Lord and praised
We pray her efforts be acclaimed
Also pray Vera Jo will be rewarded
