Desires of the World

by Swila Bathool
(Karama, Dubai, U.A.E)

Desires of the world
are shattering the crowd

Demolishing the truth
without the rear fruit

Each and every person
without knowing their action

Leaving the true faith
attracted by the vanity, the fake light

Swinging in the imaginary swing
even the mighty king

Betraying the only God
going like a free herd

The world of youth
is like the removed thread of jute

Going behind the beauty queens
shattering their only bean

The men are forgetful for the truth that
the worldly limitations are the real fact

So, rethink my dear brothers
before the fright bothers

The fright that awaits you
the day of resurrection that befalls you
