Dragons of Alagaesia

by Kaitlynn Hall
(Pea Ridge, Arkansas)

Dragons fire breathing,
Angels singing,
Trees falling,
People screaming,
Demons rejoicing
Oh what chaos
Then all is quiet
Only the flap of fleeing birds,
The crackle of fire can be heard
from heaven down to earth
Dragons sleeping long long naps
till one faithful day a girl with long hair
wakes a Dragon destined to rule
but not this era and flies home to
with her rider to old mentors Dragon elda Saphira and Eragon
