Dreamer’s Reality

by Shawn Jordan
(Baltimore, City)

Sweetest thing I ever dreamed,
Yet this is my reality it seems,
For she and I to be,
Something too complex for reality,
For her beauty is a rarity,
Not for folk as common as me,
My simplicity cannot comprehend,
The ability in which she haunts my sanity,
To my understanding she is one everlasting,
But what I am asking is,
Is my love capable of action?

Well Done

I really enjoyed this poem. I could feel your pain and your wondering, about whether or not this woman could ever love you the way you love her. Good job. More please.
