Drizzle Drizzle

by melissa waller
(Watford)

Drizzle drizzle
the fireworks explode
they calm down and brighten the sky
the earth hears the noise sizzle

drizzle drizzle
so tickled by the BOOM
the miners pleasure
each new found treasure
that followed each
drizzle

drizzle drizzle
the bite
of dynamite
cut deep inside the earth
the charge explodes revealing
loads of minerals of worth
drizzle drizzle
