Enjoy It While it Lasts

by Isabelle Olivas-Lowell
(L.A County, CA. USA)

Another lost soul means nothing to this world
The legacy you leave goes and floats around into nothing
just as a spec of dust in the blowing wind
All the questions you asked will still be unanswered
There is no meaning as to what you’ll become
as life’s reason’s, in many cases, is untouchable
The wishes promised and fulfilled shall be nothing
It’s the fear of things that haven’t been tried
Try to endure while it lasts or you’ll become another
