A sickening twist of wicked desire,
Building you up till you feel the fire,
Burning you till you can't feel a thing,
Pinning you to the center of the ring.
Sucking you in like Devil's snare,
Drawing you into this dark affair.
It's building with each of your mistakes,
It laughs because it's raised the stakes,
The longer you stay,
The more it can take away.
You realize now,
You should have let go,
That disturbing thing,
To which you let grow.
