Fade Back To Me

by Jennifer F.
(West Haven ,CT)

I will not go silent into dark night, my courage and strength will me to fight. Fear of the unknown engulfs me with anger, my addicting thoughts put me in grave danger. Sobbing in darkness it hurts to be faithless, face to face I beg of you I am not worthless. Removing my armor to battle heart and mind, I the winner declare leave all negativity behind. I look to my love I am right not to feel lonely, this is my life journey to be taken slowly. If death is to ever bleed in my hands, it will be my true happiness to know I lived life by my demands. I kept myself hostage in this past of pain, releasing myself there is only positive gain. The mirrored image that reflects I see, it is my greatest gift to know that light will fade back to me...
