FAIRYTALES

FAIRYTALES

From dragons, fairies, and butterflies
From sunsets and sunrises, calm skies
Rulers of the air, some big, and small
Story books and dreams, total recall.

Kings, queens, court jesters all play
Fantasy, adventures written each day
Children come and go, turn the page
Imagination goes as they turn the age.

Oh the days of make believe were fun
World in chaos, give our children a gun
Some will live, in the streets many die
Angels in heaven, listen to them cry.

To remember the glorious days gone by
Memories built, carefree without a why
From East to West, the hearts of man fail
Courage, truth and patriotism is not for sale.
