FORGOTTEN

by Tushar Biswas
(India)

Did you know how I turned against my nature
Just for the Fathomless dark eyes of her enticer
Everyday I fought with the odds to make you even,
And I felt the spell of forgotten into my veins

Did you know why I stole the scent from
flowers
Even noctural souls have not spoken to me for hours
Bring me to you, I have lost my way to your lane
And I felt the spell of forgotten into my veins

Did you know why I cursed rainbow for her colour
Because I wanted them to fill your black cover
I could not follow you into your nights of stain
And I felt the spell of forgotten into my veins

Did you know why those clouds turned against me
Because I have never responded to their scream
How much covetous they were to our love scene
That I felt the spell of forgotten into my veins

A cold shiver was felt when you came to my grave
Your soggy mascara showed me my act of brave
The fog congealed, along with my breathe from core
And now, I don't feel the spell of forgotten anymore
