Gelid Gails

by Chloe Lee
(Canada: The GTA)

Imagine you are up north. You open your eyes and watch as the water glistens over ice and the beautiful northern lights play in the clear sky, dark as ink on a raven’s feather. Quiet breezes whistle through the your hair. The snow is your pillow, and the crisp cool wind serves as your blanket. Closing your eyes, you fall asleep to sound of the Arctic, just a bird here and there.
