Graduation Day

At last! It's here!
What course through time
Shall I steer?
I'll take every path
That will lead to my goals,
I'll strike a wide swath
As the future unfolds.
I'll watch for every opening
That comes my way but once,
I'll seize the moments eagerly
Until I hear them crunch.
I'll fill my life with flavor
And add a touch of spice.
My values will not waver and
I'll savor every slice.
