Halloween

by Ina Cordova

Halloween season is coming soon
Darkness will cover the moon
The creatures of the after life
Are coming back to hunt you down

Therefore you must protect yourself
Let them think you are one of them
Dress up as a magical wizard
Disguise yourself like a lizard

Orange and black are the colors to choose
When decorating your house to amuse
Scary guests being unusual small
Attending your annual Halloween ball

Pumpkin faces with candlelight
Are protecting the guests from the night
The dark creatures cannot be
Where light is spreading seed

The brave ones from the small tribe
Defying their fear entering the night
Walking in groups visiting the neighbors
Getting treats and giving tricks as favor
