HAPPY EASTER

by GEORGE CAMPOS
(ONTARIO, CA - USA)

What if there'd been no Jesus
What would become of us
How in the world would we
From sin ever be free?

Could we buy into heaven
Would God accept a ransom
As on earth we furnish bail
And aren't sentenced to jail...

God said, 'Death is the wage of sin.'
And someone would have to pay
But because He loved His children
His Son was sent to pay by execution!

So Jesus took our place
And died for the human race
He could have said, Father mercy
Please, please don't send me.

But to please His Father
He came and gave His all
How have you pleased the Lord above
How have you shown your love...
Or have you???
