He Lives

Angels appeared
As the women approached the tomb
Asking why are you looking
For someone who’s not here

Little to their dismay
The stone was rolled away

They entered the tomb
Only to find
Jesus was not inside

The news soon spread
As they remembered what Jesus said
On the third day
He would be raised from the dead
