"Hold my Hand"

by Moises De La Cruz
(Brooklyn, NY)

Hold my hand
And watch how God unravels his plan
And if I were to fall
Continue to hold me through it all
I promise to never lose my grip
Even if u begin to slip
I will stand by your side as your man
And if the tears fall ill catch em with my other hand
Never releasing the hold of your palm
Through the stormy weather I am the afterward calm
Hold my hand and close your eyes
As I connect your heart with mine
In due time
Through the drama we will be just fine
As our hearts intertwine
We've developed a passion for life
Hold my hand because it is you who I want as my wife
