I am the dancer

by Louise
(Somerset, UK)

I am the riddle that you seek
and though I talk, I cannot speak

I am in air and in stone
amongst the trees, I walk alone

I am the stream that flows so near
You make no sound, but yet I hear

I am the stars deep in the night
and though I see, I have no sight

I am the flames that break the sky
although I weep, I cannot cry

I am the breeze that gently sighs
I do seem false, yet I cannot lie

I am the song that sets you free
feel the rhythm, come dance with me
