dream of the stars outside
imagine the cool wind in your hair
as you hide yourself deep inside

I'll sneak up to you tonight
say the one thing I've always wanted to say
slowly drop close to your ears and say,
no matter what you may be I'll love you anyway

Why do you stay so close to me??
why do you stick around in my misery??
I know you deserve so much more than me
but I don't deserve the love you give me

Your presence breathes life into me
makes my heart leap to the high heavens
imagining all the pain without you
my mind seems to go out of sight....

all I know is I wanted a chance
to be your hero, the one you love
