Missing You

They are such an important part of your life. Our I Miss You Poems will help you express just how much their absence is felt. Whether it’s a lover, friend, or a member of your family, distance does make the heart go fonder.

Sometimes the separation is temporary, such as a vacation or extended business trip. Other times it is a more permanent situation; when your friend moves away or when your relationship arrives at its dénouement.

No matter the circumstances you find yourself in, let them know how you feel with a tender poem that says you there is a void.  And remember, letting go is not an easy thing to do, so make sure you fill your days with activities that are pleasing to you. It will enrich your life in so many ways.

Coming Home Soon

It’s been several days
Since I’ve seen you last.
It seems so long,
Like a decade has past.
I miss the way you hold my hand
And how you make me laugh.
I miss the way we talk all night
And sit on the patio at the sun’s first light.
I pray that you come home soon
While I hope we're staring at the same moon.

You're Still Here

Distance doesn't alter the way I feel;
Nothing can change a love so real.
Though thousands of miles separate us,
You're still here with me.
Your after shave lingers on your pillow;
lulling me to sleep each night.
Your picture on the bedside table
Is always a welcome sight,
Because it reminds me,
You're still here.
Don't get angry
When I say
I don't miss you.
How can I miss you?
When you’re still here.

On another lonely night,
I wait anxiously in bed;
Thoughts of you refuse to leave my head.
The phone is on the bed beside me
I impatient await your call.
I miss you so much -
I'm like a cat
Clawing a wall.
Please call.

My True Beloved

You’ve been gone for quite a while.
I miss you,
And all I do is think about your beautiful smile.
In my dreams I see you
Telling me how much you love me.
It's been so long since I've heard your voice.
But joining the army
Was always your first career choice.
I know your free time is rare
And that you don't have much time to spare.
Just know you're missed and deeply loved.
You are my world, my true beloved.

Missing You (Youth)

Can you die from missing someone?
G-d, let it not be true.
If it is,
Then I’m long gone
And all because of you.
I miss you so much
That my heart hurts.
When you moved away
The days grew so long.
All I could do
Was sing a very sad song.
Please say the joke is over
And that you’re coming back.
Missing you is totally whack!
