Suppose there'd never been a Jesus

The Bible had never been given to us

There is no God above

We'd never known about love?

We take all this for granted

Not the way intended

We toy with good and evil

At times admonish the devil!

These gifts are treated in vain

Regardless of the pain

Seldom are we thankful

We ignore the Golden Rule...

------

Will we ever learn

Hopefully never burn

Take our gifts seriously

I wonder and we'll see.
