I'll Belong To You Forever

by Sinead FitzPatrick
(Adelaide, South Australia, Australia)

Eight long months,
We've been apart,
And you're still the owner,
Of my heart.

You heard me cry,
And disappear,
Drown in a lake,
Of my cold tear.

I thought of you,
Once again,
Because part of me,
You remain.

Sometimes I fear,
I cry too much,
But It's 'cause i miss,
Your gentle touch.

I wish that I,
Could change my face,
And Leave this world,
Without a trace.

I want to release,
The chains that bind,
The strength in what,
Remains behind.

So I'll wait in sorrow,
Until one day,
You once more take,
My breath away.
