Imprisonment

by The Raven's Death Angel
(Somewhere on Earth)

Silently she sits
in this dark corner of her mind,
the darkness has surrounded her,
with her memories,
Drifting in and out,
barely able to hear her own heartbeat,
She slowly reaches out and grabs a memory.

As she sits in this dark corner of her mind,
She softly starts to cry,
For the memory that she grabbed,
was of him and her,
Wow they looked so happy.

The tears are falling faster now,
unable to stop,
The memory that she grabbed,
starts to slowly burn up,
All is left now is a pile of ash.

Sitting in this dark corner of her mind,
Slowly melting into the darkness,
She's trying to forget her past.

All alone she sits,
In this dark corner of her mind.
