IN MEMORY OF SANDY HOOK

IN MEMORY OF SANDY HOOK

How heavy are the hearts of us all now
Shocked and fallen empty the souls
Hard capsule of the doomed. Now distraught
Pride reduced to those now humbled
In the twilight season set for joy
Shattered lives take up in waiting
To live for, crying for those who died
Philosophers of history with nothing to say
Oh fate you have left us broken in your wake.
