Ineffable light of the great darkness...

by anna farrell
(France.)

Ineffable light of the great darkness...
Holy Mother, Great Womb of All
Within whom a myriad
possibilities of endless meaning
like sleeping children, lie dormant
In the lambent light cast by the moon.
Sleepwalkers, hearts softly veiled with a longing
Wrapped in the dark, velvety sleep of unknowing
Tread lightly the labyrinthian night
Suffused in thoughts of immortality and peace.
She who leads in hushed tones
Whispers, echoes of a myriad lives stir the air.
Dare to awaken, weave into a bridge of numinous light the gossamer strands of sound and color...the fragments of a dream.
