Inside Out

by Rachel
(North Somerset, England)

I understand you inside out
I know your pain, your sorrow
Your rain
I know your secrets the darkness
within

I know that pain is your game
You conceal yourself inside your
heart and lock it and just start

living life although you would rather
end the pain, the suffering of life
The lies that you tell are hard and
cold

But lies that came from heart of gold
is surely one that you can behold
You don t see things as I do
you don t see the holes in me

I see everything inside of you but
yet you shy away from my presence
and all I can do and say is
'don t be scared'
and lend you my hand
