Inside

by Caneel
(Maine)

I put up with it all
I let them walk all over me
I think I know how it is
Finally

I am really out of the loop
And I don't watch T.V
And I don't have electronic games
And I don't know much about the modern world

I know what they think of me

I keep it all inside
I say what I want inside
I know it all inside
I make sure it all stays inside

It is an exhausting job
I am always spacing out
They think I am weird
But what I am, who I am,
They don't bother to find out

I Am
Myself
Not
Some Kid
They Can
Push
Around
