Intersection

by Antonio Pullen
(Raleigh,NC USA)

The road is beginning to curve

Each speed bump seems higher than before

Slowly realization kicks in,

life is what you make it

Focus on the road which is long and narrow

Dark and sleek like a sparrow

Eyesight is as sharp as an arrow, now the road is clearer

Hard knocks and hard cries

Tears fall down like building blocks

Tumbling down each drop seems to build a new life form

Timeless, more like endless storms appear

Vanishing without a trace

Impossible the road may seem

Possibilities are reachable

This journey is available to all

What a great way to look at life. comparing it to a winding road. Thanks for posting.
