I want to say I'm sorry
For spacing out all the time
And every time I wake up
You look as if it's a crime

Is it a crime to fly away from earth
And up into the sky
Where everyone is happy
And nobody cries?

I'd love to stay there all my life
But I must try to stay on the ground
But why must I remain here
Where they drink and kick and pound?

I can be weightless
And float away
But as of now
I'd like to stay
