It was an Army....

by Christine Redderoth-Roderick

It was an army of misfortune.

Bad luck, hard times, lives lost and truths be known. Life's lessons, though different for each man who stands in line, is one of bravery, one of pride.

Stand tall, back straight, jacket, tie and hat neatly perched on each ones head. There is no time for embarrassment, no time for self loathing.

Time seems to go on forever and that time is filled with nothing but the desire to survive.
