LADY IN BLACK

by Dr. Rick McGrath, Ph.D.
(Modesto, CA)

From the picture mystery of her like a storm
Beauty that isn’t hidden under a veil
Hair of like shinning flaxen it is worn
Mystery and inner war to prevail.

Lips painted of blossom red
Petals falling slowly to the ground
Daggers steal next to her head
Beauty and excitement to be found.

Dress sexy and cut clean but low
Butterfly perched across her breast
Mystery, imagination does this picture bestow
The lady in black is waiting to be put to test.
