Think of all the moments we shared
think of all the happiness we had
think of all the dreams we made
think of all the times I was there when you were sad

why am I left alone over here?
why is there no one beside me?
your presence was my bare existence,
the soul that once did reside in me

Can you not see all the pain i feel?
Can you not tell how my heart weeps?
Have you become so cold hearted?
will you never let that drop of mercy seep?

But then today reality hits me
it wasnt your fault, wasnt your choice
you had to choose between duty and desire
i'm glad you didn't lay consent to my voice

I was too desperate and I do agree
I couldn't stand not to see
even if,
for a single moment it may be.

today I realize my prayers have been answered
god has done what's best for you
taking you away, giving me pain
I just want to see what's next for you

do me a favour, never regret
all the moments we had even if you forget
with this worthless creation, meant to cry
the one when you went away from was left to die....
